The Arizona Cardinals are officially in game week, as they prepare for week one against the Los Angeles Chargers. It will be the start of a new era for the Cardinals as Mike LaFleur makes his head coaching debut in Arizona and the NFL. Right now the Cardinals are underdogs, but Trey McBride could be the difference maker against a defense that struggles to stop the tight end position.

Arizona announced their team captains which are Hjalte Froholdt, Casey Kreiter, Budda Baker, Mack Wilson Sr and Jacoby Brissett. Mike LaFleur looks to lean on veteran leadership in the locker room as he grows as a head coach in the NFL. Budda Baker has been a team captain every season since 2020. A great stable piece that's been apart of the organization.
